ある日、ライ・Xという男が自分の監督作の脚本をハリーに依頼する。
内容が“父の記憶に復讐する息子の物語”と聞き、自分向きではないと断る。
が、ハリーはその男が実業家エルネストの息子であることを思い出していた。
ハリーの過去に興味を持つディエゴに求められ、ハリーはマテオ時代のことを話し始める。
1994年、新進監督だったマテオはコメディ映画を撮ろうとしていた。
